How to edit the ask a question question in the ask now page?
Several times now I post a question and I get this long running horizontal scroll.
I have firgured this out the time prior - a while ago - but now I must deal with it again and I do not wish to test this at this time or ever again.
Does anyone know why this is happening. The message should look like a standard text page. I am editing the text in notepad and paste into the message board. I use one long run-on sentence for each paragraph. So, I do not know why some of these lines should become encapsulated in code while others do not.
Why is this even an issue to occur and why is there not a description on this page on how to use this editor?

Avoid using any spaces at the beginning of a line. That triggers pre-formatting with no automatic line breaking. (It's used for computer code.)
I have recalled how to resolve this issue. When pasting text from an outside editor into the message board the long run-on line may become separated with a space leading the newly formed line. For some reason this space causes the insertion of code that encapsulates the text in a scrolling field.
The question remains why is there not a resource available on this page that explains the use of this editor. Why should creating a question take such time to create in an expected manner and why is this even an issue.
Better would be for the leading spaces to be removed as the lines are dissected
Below is an example of the scrolling field; it is written with a leading space on the sentence and that makes the difference

If you would like to participate in improving the editor, you can post an issue on Github describing where changes should be made. If you are a coder, you can create a pull request.
