I recently changed my default search engine to Bing, but not the browser, and noticed that my back page often doesn't work. I have to click and hold the back page arrow and mouse down to get to a page in the traceback chain that will execute. I assume this is not the result of Bing - I just report it because it's the only thing I've changed recently. Can this behavior be fixed?

I'm on Windows 10, build 10941.685 Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
