Browser security warning when trying to use browser agent extension
Hi All,
Our client has an issue since upgrading to the latest FF version. He’s running a few extensions: cookies/proxies/browser agents and having deactivated one by one determined the issues was the browser agent.
At one point it was only showing the error when accessing YouTube / studio but now it happens when trying to login to his Gmail meaning no access is given at all.
Note - Client has installed different extensions but faces the same issue
Any advice regarding this will be much appreciated
Thanks

Can you give more detail about what security error that client is experiencing and what extension this is about ?
Can you attach a screenshot?

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
There is usually no need to modify the user agent if that is what this extension is doing and using extensions is always at your own risk.
What specific reason does this client have to this extension ?
Morning,
As it’s the weekend I’m not able to send the screen shot over yet. I can tell you that the browser agent extension in question has been marked as safe by Firefox and has the green tick.
The error consists of warning the user that the browser itself isn’t secured and it only runs when the said extension is deactivated. The client told us he uses this because he manages X different social media accounts and needs to access the different accounts without leaving footprints.
Nothing shady going on here.
