Sorry to still be a pain
Sorry to be a pain but I am still having problems with the "Autofill logins and passwords" setting. Yesterday I had two replies but one was way over my old head. I got so far but then I was at a loss as to which files it would be safe to try and delete so I didn't delete any. The other reply was easier to understand but alas it also didn't work. I tick the "ask to save logins and passwords" and the "Autofill logins and passwords" boxes and after I do this all works fine. However if I leave my Firefox browser for any reason and then re-login to Firefox these settings, along with "Remember History" have all been deleted so that I then have to tick and alter these settings again. Now for the other strange part Firefox on my android phone is synced with my desktop Firefox and I don't have any problems, all logins and passwords work fine. I have up to date Windows 10, Firefox version 81 and the latest TREND maximum anti-virus protection. I have tried exiting TREND and doing a restart of Firefox with add-ons disabled and that makes no difference. Finally I even uninstalled Firefox and managed to install an earlier version and that didn't solve the snag either so I have updated to the latest version again.

If you have the "Trend Micro Password Manager" installed then uninstall this application via the Windows Control Panel.
Hi cor-el, Thank You very much for suggesting I look at TREND passport manager. I hadn't installed that but it gave me the idea to look at another TREND setting named Web Browser Privacy and upon turning that off all worked great. Just to make sure I turned it on then off 3 more times and each time it was on I had the snag. Everytime I turned it off all was OK. Thanks Again
