Where Can I Compliment the Developers for Making Login to Sites 20x More Hassle on FireFox for Android?

Is there anyplace I can compliment the developers of FireFox v80 on Android for the ingenious upgrade to access of saved login data, that makes it impossible to copy/paste login information from the settings into a login form?

The old way, that was no good, made it possible to copy from saved login data to a login form when prefill does not happen due to subtle differences in domain names used on mobile devices vs. desktop devices. Before v80. the saved login data would be in one tab and the login form in another, so you could switch between the two, carrying the username and password in the clipboard for pasting into the form.

The new way, which is much better, makes that impossible, because the saved login data is not displayed within a tab, but instead is displayed in a four-layer-deep overlay, which blows away the login form on sites using javascript-driven popups for login forms.

The net effect is what used to be possible with a hassle now is impossible. I guess this new way is a bigger hassle, but the new way still is better, otherwise it would not be new, right?

Is there a way to communicate this directly to the developers?

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
