They pretty much suck. Take away options for the user and force options Firefox wants us to use. For example, my ony choice to NOT use Firefox blocking mechanisms is the "enable them" the de-select everything, why not have a "don't enable" option? I mean ffs!

I run script blockers canvasblocker and WebRTC controls in my browser. I have an antivirus that stops virus's, a malicious program app that stops adware/spyware/PUP's, crypto miners. I have a firewall running IP/domain name blocking and SNORT which I have train over the years to prevent all of the above. I use DoT (DNS over TLS) on a private DNS server and in about 3 months when I have time will be running my own DoT server BEHIND my firewall so I don't have to rely on an outside server for that.

The ONLY way to ensure you privacy and protection is to take care of it yourself. Relying on corporations to do it is simply another security breach AFAIK.

I mean Firefox, Microsoft, Google, Amazon Cloud may all have your best interest in mind but probably not. Data and browsing habits are whats in for making money and every corporation wants in.

Pay me. You want my data and browsing habits then pay me.

I donate to every single "free" software I use every single time I purchase a new PC or device. These donations amount to a tidy sum every 2-3 years.

You know what? Make an option heavy, user choice saturated browser and I'll buy it from you. Force me to upgrade every 3-5 years I'll do that. but PLEASE STOP taking my choices away!! I already feel like a slave in this society. FFS stop bringing it to my attention.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
