Fix slowness...

Clicked on "fix slowness, crashing" POP-UP and now I lost all of my saved passwords, logins and Bookmarks. Really? And please don't tell me to just import them back from Chrome, because, as I weened myself from Chrome, of course I didn't save the passwords in both browsers and everything since migrating to FireFox. Welp, I guess I go back to Chrome and avoid this in the future. Scratching my head....

It actually pisses me off because I found the initial screen that SPECIFICALLY states "Refreshing Firefox can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its default state, while saving your essential information like bookmarks, and passwords."

Hi FishF1, I'm sorry to hear your Refresh didn't complete properly for some reason. Maybe there was a locked file or it got interrupted somehow.

On your Windows desktop, do you have an Old Firefox Data folder? Inside, check for a folder with a partially random name, like "ab65z19w.default" -- that would have all your data from before the Refresh.

Before suggesting next steps, was there anything going wrong in your Firefox that led you to try the Refresh?
