I recently downloaded Firefox iOS but am unable to download any add-ons because it isn’t even showing that I’m using a firefox browser at the very same time I’m using a THE firefox browser?

I’m bewildered. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi frequentseas, seems you got the spam twice -- please ignore the unofficial support solicitation that someone posted. We have no idea where that leads and don't want you to get scammed.

I did click on it unfortunately and it took me to a google docs page asking for info. I’m really confused by this. I am using firefox ios but I can’t download any add-ons because it says I need to download firefox first. Do you have any idea why this could be?

I don't know whether Firefox on iOS can run add-ons. Due to Apple platform restrictions, all third party browsers use a lot of Safari components and this limits how different they can be from one another.

I have the same problem and need help. I want to install add blockers or themes and other add ons and and it says I need Firefox to use when I’m on Firefox that I’ve downloaded. When I click get Firefox it opens the App Store page where I click open and nothing happens. Need help

Sorry, I posted twice on accident

I've looked at all the menus in Firefox in an iPad and I don't see anything about add-ons. Also, I don't see any help articles on add-ons for Firefox on iOS. I have the feeling it's not possible to install add-ons in this version of Firefox. Maybe someone else knows a way, but most likely they would need to be specially written for Firefox for iOS; I don't think add-ons for Windows/Mac/Linux/Android will work.

In order to assure Firefox, type into the address bar: Https://Mozilla.org/"support"/en-US/. Download Firefox from the Mozilla app only. Mozilla updates it's app automatically, so you won't have to do "any' updating from sources.
