</p><p>Have done everything you've suggested above many, many times over the past 8 months trying to figure this problem out for myself. As too the Avast extension, I only recently installed it, too no avail, in hope's that it would have led me to the problem.
</p><p>I've removed and re-installed f/f several dozen times, seriously, as well as removed and clean installed w/10 a dozen times. I've tried every other browser available, none of which showed this particular problem.
</p><p>At this point, I'm thinking m/s does not want w/10 users enjoying f/f...&nbsp;!
</p><p>I sincerely appreciate both your and Fred's help and if you do come up with a fix in the future please keep me in mind. I'll continue my own search for a fix in the meantime.

3. If the above doesn't work, please consider uninstalling Avast (because disabling antivirus often doesn't remove it 100%) and using Windows built-in anti-virus protection and let us know if any of the above 3 help.
