Hi and in advance thank you very much ! I'm a long time user of Firefox, and there is a very strange problem on my Firefox since one week. When I'm on Google and I'm clicking a link, the website is so long to load, and sometimes finishes with a "Time delay exceeded". When I'm writing the URL in the URL field, it's very slow too. When I'm searching the same thing on a different search engline, it's working very fast. Then, when I write the URL in the URL field, it's suddenly very fast. On other navigators no problem at all.

I tried to : uninstall firefox, repair firefox, restart in safe mode/without modules, launch with another profile, nothing helps. I was thinking about DNS resolving problem, so I tried automatic DNS,, in the properties of my network card and nothing helps.

With another Windows 10 account on the same computer, Firefox works perfectly. With another computer and the same Firefox account, Firefox works perfectly.

I also tried Malwarebyte and ZHPCleaner. Malware found nothing, ZHP found some things on Firefox, fixed it, but nothing changed.

Well again thank you so much to spend time to help me solving this issue.

Best Regards

You can check the timings in the Network Monitor.

You can check with more malware scanners just to be sure.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Hi, Thank you a lot for your fast answer ! I tried to open a tab with the Web Developer tool, and tried to click on a link found trough Google search engine, and, as usual, first that took a very long time then said the classic "Time delay exceeded" and the second try it said the loading reached ~16 sec https://i.imgur.com/vrY59L6.png

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:   Found nothing

AdwCleaner:   Found nothing, but asked me to reboot the computer to fix something I don't know why. After reboot nothing in Firefox nothing was fixed.

Super Anti Spyware: 348 tracking cookies found and removed https://i.imgur.com/DrFDQ0U.png But nothing fixed.

Microsoft Safety Scanner:   Win32/DefenderTamperingRestore deleted https://i.imgur.com/QsVRmKX.png But nothing fixed.

Windows Defender: Disabled by ESET installed on my computer ESET scan https://i.imgur.com/eUssday.png Nothing found

Spybot: We must donate something even for the free version...

Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool: No threats found https://i.imgur.com/hExczMy.png

TDSSKiller: No threats found   https://i.imgur.com/pjhtiI9.png

Also I tried uninstalling an deleting everything about mozilla in \AppData\, and deleting any keys with mozilla or firefox in regedit. I'm sorry to say that nothing is fixed :( Webpages still take so long to load. If you want I can make a video of what happens with the Web developper tool ?

Thank you again so much for everything !
