Hi sciencemagic, Clearing cookies, cache and site data gets rid of the "old" information and allows for new site information to be loaded. It's a relatively common thing to do. Especially, when a site updates. The only "bad" part is in reference to logins. You would be logged out and will have to log in again, re-newing the login cookies.

Hi sciencemagic, you don't have to clear all cookies from all sites. On the Options page, Privacy & Security panel, in the Cookies section, the Manage Data button lets you remove cookies for certain sites without disturbing the others.

Hi jscher2000, I tried your suggestion of deleting the specific site's cookies. I will see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the reply.
