FF 74 lost my bookmarks toolbar, they are vertical on the left, at the top if shiftkey and start FF

The update today to 74 lost all my customized, userchrome.css stuff and the row of bookmarks that used to be at the top now go down the left size, or right side if I want, but I want it at the top. Userchrome does not seem to recognized either as I put what I had kept, back in the a chrome folder in the profile folder.

Hi AIVAS, is this a question or is it a suggested solution? You said:

I've included my FF screen image and current (works fine!) userChrome file.

If your question isn't answered by the multi-row bookmarks toolbar links earlier in this thread, could you start a new question? The links were all renamed recently, so you could start here:

After 2 appointments (1 medical and 1 video) yesterday, I took the plunge and updated FF (73 to 75).

After removing all instances of userChrome from my computer and trying all of the posted suggestions, plus many others online, I managed to get my bookmarks to a single horizontal bar. But it will not wrap.

Apparently FF 75 broke the fixes to FF 74.

As I suspected, FF keeps breaking things with each update (sic).

Thank you for your suggestions but in these days of lockdown I think my time may be better spent updating to Microsoft Edge Chromium or just Chrome. So I've been checking reviews and, if nothing else, FF has been slipping badly in the browser ratings indicating that, after more than a decade or two, I need to make a change.

A last word to the developers, as in the medical profession: "Do no harm."

When I tested this code in the Browser Toolbox --

https://github.com/MrOtherGuy/firefox-csshacks/blob/master/chrome/multi-row_bookmarks.css

-- the bookmarks bar became tall and initially I didn't see all the bookmarks, but Firefox wrapped them when I resized the window (I did that accidentally by trying to use the scrollbar on the right side of the bookmarks toolbar; apparently that's just a visual cue and you're supposed to use the scroll wheel instead).
