firefox support question
On my profile page, next to my name there is another name in brackets () What is this and how do I remove it and if I cannot remove it, how do I unlink my "old" support account that was different to my Firefox account.
I never linked these account, and I had nothing but trouble with my old support account. It's about time we can log in with our Firefox accounts, however this still does not make any sense to me why they are connected.

(wambam88) is the original name that you used when you signed up here.
FARCRY is the name you used when you set it as your "display name" here.
On this forum you have the username for the account that is used to link to the profile, i.e. the username is part of the link (/user/wambam88). You can set a different display name that shows in a question or reply via the "Edit Profile" link (/user/wambam88/edit) that you find in the drop-down list that opens if you hover your login name at the top of the page.
You created this account in Aug 12, 2018, probably when you asked this question.

You can possibly delete the account if you no longer want to use it via your profile page (edit profile).
