Can you please clarify what does not work for you?

when i try to email from fox i get an error message says they cant find the mail source says i may need to install addition software but it doesnt do that with other websites. i really think the problem is with the windows email program--its really lousy. i might add id i use their own edge broswer i dont have the problem. typical of miscrosoft try to force u to use their programs but edge is inferior to firefox as far as im concerned.

I would agree that Windows Mail went downhill as an "app", while it was ok when it used to be an actual mail client application.

However, Firefox doesn't have mail, so you must be using a webmail provider in the Firefox browser. Who is that?

As for Fox News - are you meant to be getting news updates from their site in an email subscription? Is the problem that you do not receive them, or that you cannot open the email, or maybe the mail does not display properly?

Can you create screenshots of the error message, and any other problem (like the mail not displaying)? You can attach it to your reply using Add images How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

I always found that the Email Link button works well. And you can set up different mail clients: Change the program used to open email links

Of course, I also use Thunderbird, to avoid the issues with Win 10 Mail: Thunderbird
