Dragging a tab across to a new window loses Menu Bar etc
I run Firefox maximized 99.5% of the time. Problem I have just started getting is that the newly created window loses the Menu Bar etc, all the way down to the Bookmarks Toolbar. This includes the 3 items in the top right corner - "Minimize", "Size", and "Close (X)". Only way to close the window is to go to the Windows 10 taskbar and select the window to close it from there. A screen shot is attached. .... I suspect this problem is related - on the primary window, the work "File" is blacked out ... looks like a depressed black section of the menu bar. If you look hard enough you can sometimes see the last 5th of the letter "e". This occurs whether the window is sized or maximized. A screenshot is attached for this also.
My Windows 10 is as up-to-date as Windows Update provides.

Update:
If I right-click where I expect things to be in that white space on the second window, Windows behaves as if Firefox is not there and produces the menu you get when you right-click on open space on your desktop (i.e. View, Sort by, Refresh, Paste, Paste Shortcut, etc etc). If there is something on the desktop in the position you choose, whether doing a left- or right-click, then you get the behaviour that you expect from the icon/file in that position on your desktop. e.g. "Open" ... "Send To" menu ... down to "Properties", or "Move to <folder name>".
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Options/Preferences -> General: Performance
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use recommended performance settings"
remove checkmark: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings
Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting for changes to take effect.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
