Hi, I have been using Mozilla firefox since long time & it is best browser ever but since last two weeks I am not able to do browsing on it. I can start mozilla but when i enter any web address or URL it does not show any progress, also not able to open more than two tabs, unable to access saved bookmarks. cant uninstall it as I have many credentials saved in it with bookmarks. Version 68.0b9- 32 bit by my OS is 64 bit

Let’s do a full clean re-install;

Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;

Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.


Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders

Do Not remove any profile folders.

Your personal data like bookmarks is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose personal data when you reinstall or update Firefox, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

Hi, As suggested I have removed Adobe flash player, restarted PC & reinstalled latest Adobe flash player. It worked till today afternoon but again it stopped working. Is it possible for you to take remotes session of my PC from Team viewer or anything else.

Hi, Mozilla 67.0.3 32bit & 68.0b.11 32bit both are unresponsive. Not a single function out of it works. Unable to update or uninstall. Quite disappointed.

What security software do you have?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key) to see if that has effect.
