Firefox keeps saying it cannot continue to create a firefox account because cookies are disabled. I check my cookies setting and cookies setting is standard. Firefox will not create an account because it keeps saying cookies are disable when they are not disabled. I have had to do this using Chrome.

Hi all,

I set up firefox on my Samsung 7 phone and Sync worked with no issues.

I think my laptop is heading towards the window! Its not just firefox causing me grief.

Thanks again for all your suggestions.

Only to extensions - both disabled. Still doesn't work. nothing else added at this stage.

I think it might be my laptop.

Before you do something drastic (like throwing your laptop out the window) - wait and see if maybe someone will come up with the perfect solution, okay  ?

(bear in mind that we're dealing with different time zones, though)

Hey Steve, should you find (once you got a new laptop) that the old laptop wasn't to blame after all : please, get back here and let us know  !

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
