For the last two Firefox updates I installed the update, selected to restart Firefox and then received a black screen! Turned off the computer. When I next turned it on, it took a long time to become operational. When I tried to open Firefox, a Windows box appeared with the info that the program was not on the computer! I used Chrome to download and re-install Firefox.

To happen once was a surprise. To happen at the next update ..... that is a worry. Any advice? I am thinking that at each update it will be simpler to uninstall Firefox and then install the most recent version.
