How do I stop Firefox from being always on top?
Firefox is always on top of everything. How do I stop it?

Try to rename/remove xulstore.json and if present delete localstore.rdf in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

I don't get that problem. Are you sure it's not a O/S caused problem?
I don't think ' ' Always On Top ' ' is an option in Firefox.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

When I am in Firefox, I can't get to the taskbar. I have the taskbar auto-hide. Even if i have it locked I can't get to the taskbar.

When I am in firefox the browser stays on top of taskbar. How can I tell if it is the OS?
Did you click on the "windows" key to force the taskbar back. If that doesn't work then you got O/S problems.
