I can't play Vimeo Real.Video without the stop and go buffering that is excessive
When I go on a certain program that uses or their player is Vimeo / Real.Video/ Brighteon seems to be their latest name, at any rate, that player they use stops me from watching as every time and this has been well into a month, i attempt to just play a video it doesn't play without stop and go every other sentence or sentence and maybe a half and then stops to twirl and then goes again and repeat repeat. It's maddening and from this point in time or on all this wonderful technology that is online, i don't think this should be happening at all. Not to mention the onslaught of 5 G that that's going to be the killer, but in the meantime, is there anything you can suggest on this subject of why I'm just not getting it as i would You tube videos.

- I usually play any video with FF below 720p to help keep my CPU usage lower. 480p for YouTube videos.
- Can you play a video at 540p ok on the Vimeo site? (Click the video's icon Gear and select 540p.)
- What's your ISP speed? How many Bonded Channels?

Make sure you are not blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
One issue that seems more common lately is Firefox's Tracking Protection feature. When it is blocking content in a page, a shield icon will appear at the left end of the address bar next to the padlock icon. This article has more info on managing this feature: Tracking Protection {web link}
