I was looking for support after experiencing big problems after the last firefoxupdate (windows 10 crashing). Found this website firefoxsupport.org and they seem legit. After chatting with them via their online chatbox (no red flags), i gave them permission to call me, And the guy seemed very knowledgeable and professional (still no red flags). So i gave him permission for remote access. He claimed i was infected with some kind of trojan, and was asking for money to fix it, and also there was timepressure. Those were red flags for me so i hung up and broke the connection. But now i my firewall is down and internetconnection gone.

Nope 100% not legit as they even admit that on the page but of course not everybody is going to read far enough before chat or calling so they fall for it.

support.mozilla.org is the official Mozilla Firefox support site. Any other might want to help you, but many are scams.

What's your computer system and Firefox version?

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

I was looking for support after experiencing big problems after the last firefoxupdate (windows 10 crashing).

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is the exact error messages?

Is it the computer that is crashing, or Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
