Firefox doesn't sync at opening

I use 2 PC: on both of them I use firefox and I use sync to keep updated info between them. On the first PC, everything works fine. On the second one, when I open Firefox it is never sync and I always need to put my password again (and often to confirm the access by e-mail).

I set on this PC to keep my password saved, to keep Sync connected... but it doesn't. I searched online, I found some topic about, I tried with solutions that worked for other users, but nothing... on the second PC sync doesn't stay connected.

In this PC, I run Firefox 52.9.0 (64 bit), update channel esr (I had problem with "normal" update channel before).

thank you very much

Hi, You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply.

Hi, thank you for your answer: I didn't know about the link for the logs...

I fond several logs any day (cannot I attach a zip file?)

For example, below one of the today's log:

Hi, please go to Help --> About and update to latest version.

Did you format and reinstall or do you use CCleaner or a program like it ?

hi, I'm very sorry for my delay in this answer, but I was away for some days for a couple of wedding.

Firefox is alread updated (see attachment). In this PC (the one where I have problem with sync) I'm using ESR channel (I was suggested to change it for a problem a couple of years ago).

I haven't formatted or reinstalled firefox in the past months. I don't use CCleaner (neither similar program) on this PC.

I'm not sure it could be related, but I forgotten to say that this PC is my work's PC: often software is installed by my company (Firefox is a rare exception).

You were told to upload the Sync error log to Mozilla.Pastebin.org - this forum software can't handle the entire contents of an error log and doesn't allow for uploads of zip or other text files. Only images can be added to this forum. Overall, that error file is probably 3 to 4 times as long as what appears here, the reason that we specify using Pastebin, although that may not help you,

Try if logging off Sync on that device; then restart Firefox, and log in again. See if that helps.

Also, does your employer specifically allow their devices to connect to Sync? That could the reason that one PC works fine while the other just won't connect. Many companies don't allow for connecting to a "cloud" and block those connections at the firewall and keep them going thru their intranet for security purposes.

Im' really sorry, I miss that link. I uploaded the last log (today): https://pastebin.mozilla.org/9089594 (hoping I did it right...)

I tried logging off, restarting and logging again, but it doesn't change the situation.

Honestly I don't know if my company allow specifically sync.. I know other cloud (e.g. dropbox) work fine, but I'm not sure about that. ...maybe it's that... :-(

thank you
