Look at the site that your URL it's not a FF nor something from FF.

You were redirected to an ad page.

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

This is like due to a form of malvertisiong from a Ad on a site you were on and not necessarily due to any malware on Windows.

This FAKE you will revive a Samsung S8 or S9 or iPhone X or $1000 gift card for just doing a survey or a $1 money transfer pops up every while in a few different variations. The one in picture is the most generic version.

If Mozilla were to by chance send a prize (though nothing close to $1000 value) they would likely have it on a *.mozilla.org page.

http://www.speedtest.net/ and the legacy http://legacy.speedtest.net/ (uses Flash Plugin) has been around for a very long time. It can have ads but I never encountered anything malicious or something like the fake prize popup you got.

https://sourceforge.net/speedtest/ is a another test done by HTML5.

Again what you posted in screenshot is not from the Firefox web browser nor from the company Mozilla that makes Firefox.

Hi, you do not have to speed test on any other site than was given www.speedtest.net/ .

Nothing is going change results so no need to shop around for a speed test site.

Try below for adblockers :

You will need to learn how to use as they may break some sites.

Try this for malware :

Note : if you leave option to block 3rd party cookies on some video sites will be broken.

Use a dedicated Malware Scanner once a week. If you want continual as you use will have to subscribe to get real time protection Avast is not a anti-malware security program it is a Anti-virus with features.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi, Nice tips. The adblock asks for so much unwanted data. I just selected the first . Let me have your opinion on using this adblock. Is it safe? Will it block genuine contents in sites? Your malware bytes link also helped me. I am having malware bytes free version, but it takes much time to update and doing heruistic scan for hours. thanks and expecting your reply

HI, welcome Must have a older computer, mine scans in under 10mins 5 terabytes Though mine is 6yrs old bought for the future with 24gig of ram.

The Extension does not replace scanning with your free version, it compliments it only.

Adblock Plus is good. it may break sites just have spend a few mins configuring it for the site. Have not used it for years, I use ones that do break sites. uBlock Origin is a matter of figuring it out rather than mucking with malware infestation.

G'Luck.
