Type about:config in Firefox's address bar and click (enter). There is a search bar at the top of the page.

Search for browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs Double click it to change its value.

It was on "true" but I was still not getting a warning when closing multiple tabs. I changed it to "false" and still did not get the warning, so I changed it back.

Could this be happening because I have Firefox set to reopen my tabs every time I reopen the app?

I know how to close multiple tabs. My problem is that there used to be a check box option within the Firefox preferences to "Warn before closing multiple tabs when quitting." I have always had that checked and when I hit command+Q, Firefox would give me a warning that I was about to close multiple tabs at one time. Now that warning doesn't come up, even when I tried the previously suggested advice of

"Type about:config in Firefox's address bar and click (enter). There is a search bar at the top of the page. Search for browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs Double click it to change its value."

In Options, in the three horizontal Menu bar, it will open at General. Under Tabs near the top make sure "warn you when closing multiple tabs" is checked

The Tab warn items in "Options/Preferences > General" are hidden when the related prefs have the default value and warnings are enabled. They only show when you set the related prefs on the about:config page to false to disable the warning. Note that this requires to close and restart Firefox to make changes apply fully.

Even after setting it to false, quitting Firefox, and reopening it, I still do not have the option to check a box for "Warn before closing multiple tabs." See attached screenshot. I do not have that option in my preferences whether or not "browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs" is set to true or false.
