Whenever a mistake is made in typing a url, automatically appears to try and search an alternate result, but instead fills the URL box with pages of jibberish that takes minutes to remove or delete, and then apparently times out and flags its own unsolicited efforts:

414 Request-URI Too Large

Simply X-ing out the tab and starting over is an option, but still a nuisance.

Blocking this particular web site,, would probably resolve the issue without blocking other services provided by Windstream.

Here is an example: If "" is entered instead of "" a huge amount of garbage is thrown into the url window by this unsolicited "searchguide" website and the following error message is presented by this unauthorized search effort: "414 Request-URI Too Large"

Other websites redirect appropriately, like "" redirects without to "" without automatically invoking and without creating the error message: "414 Request-URI Too Large"

If this is a form of web censorship and denial of access, I want to know more about it and help other web sites to take action to help ensure 1st Amendment inspired net neutrality, and to curb censorship.
