Hi, I have Windows 10 in a VMWare Player 14 virtual machine. This installation is fresh new. I had installed Firefox 58 and when I try to start it, it flashes for an istant and disappear, but it's still open.

I tried to enable hardware acceleration on the VM, nothing changed. I tried to reinstall it or rename xulstore.json. Even the safe mode is not working and flashes.

The pc where the VM is running is also Windows 10 installed fresh new and there Firefox is working without problem.

Could you help me?

A, do you have VMware tools installed? B. do you have enough video memory and RAM added to the VM?

Either one could be your issue.

A. Obviously yes, lastest version. B. I had no hardware acceleration, then I tried to activate it and give 1GB of memory, no luck. Same problem with older version (57).

This is strange, because the problem seems to be only on that Virtual Machine (others with Windows 7 are ok, even the Windows 10 directly installed on the pc), but other browser works perfectly (IE, Chrome). But even the safe mode isn't working. It seems to be the graphic card of the VM, I'm trying to update the pc driver to see if something change.

I tried the VM on another PC, still having same problem. I know that this is a particular case, but the only program affected is Firefox...
