Upgrade to 53/54 stopped firefox accessing the camera
I recently "upgraded" from firefox 52 to FF 53, then 54. Immediately from 52>53 Firefox was unable to access the camera. I was using appear.in. It worked just before the downgrade. Moving to 54 did not help How do I unlock this, or revert to FF52 please?
BTW windows 7

Firefox 52 and later releases only support the Shockwave Flash plugin and disable all other plugins. If you need to use other plugins then you can use the Firefox 52 ESR release. Otherwise you can stay with the current Firefox release version.

thanks for replying. So why did it work in 52, and not 53? What plug in do I need to use so theat firefox can access my laptop's camera?
