I am so annoyed that it is not possible to turn on a setting in Firefox to prevent it from being closed by accident. For security reasons, I like to have my browser set to erase all history upon exit. However, if I have multiple important tabs open (which I usually do) and then accidentally click X, I lose them all, which can be disastrous! This usually happens if I'm trying to close the window of another program that is almost the same size as my Firefox window, and Firefox in the background, so the X buttons are precariously close to each other. I shouldn't have to resort to using an add on like warn-before-quit or AskForSanitize, which both use legacy technology that clearly isn't going to be great for security. The tabkeeper add on may be safer, but it still requires permissions that make me uncomfortable, and would require me to anticipate that I was going to accidentally close the browser, so it really doesn't solve the problem anyway. (Although really Firefox should have a built in option to save a session!) I also can't understand why the undo close tab option isn't a menu of recently close tabs instead, and why there is no option to duplicate tab. Again, I shouldn't have to rely on potentially unsafe add ons for basic features like these that should have been built in. I cannot understand why these simple features are not available in Firefox. Do you want me to switch browsers? It's so ridiculous.
