First time install of Firefox v51.0 on Windows 7. Upon installation completion Firefox immediately crashes and pops up the crash reporter. My AV and anti-exploit tools do not indicate any blocks occurred. Attempts to load Firefox manually also crashes to the crash reporter. Has anyone else seen this yet?

hi paladium, thanks for providing a crash id. this crash is caused by the websense security software that is running on your device. i presume that's in a corporate environment - please get in contact with your it department to make sure that websense is fully up to date, as it has the tendency to crash newly released firefox versions until they adapt accordingly. another option would be to install an esr version of firefox: Old versions of Websense cause startup crashes in Firefox

FYI - Websense is now Forcepoint.

The Forcepoint DLP software appears to be the reason for the crash. After uninstalling the DLP agent FF loaded fine. We are opening a case with Forcepoint to have this addressed. Thanks for the quick response!!
