Crashes happen mostly while running Facebook, especially when using FB messenger/chat and/or when clicking on any links. Sometimes crashes happen on other sites as well, but they always happen within 2-5 minutes since the last Firefox update. I have read that Nvidia hardware acceleration may be the cause, but I deactivated it under Options/Advanced/General Settings with no effect. I also tried various settings with Cashed Web Content (override/no override), but that doesn't do anything either.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Unfortunately, the windows 64 bit build didn't do the trick. The problem persists, basically almost exclusively with Facebook. No idea why.

When you posted initially you appear to have been on Firefox 50.0, when you initially asked this question. No doubt you are now on Fx50.1 You mentioned since the last Firefox update by that are you indicating that you did not experience crashes in Fx49 (Initially released about a month ago).

It may be worth testing out what happens on Firefox Portable ESR. That is a third party build and easy to install on the hard disk drive or even a memory stick. It installs as an independent browser and so does not disrupt your use of the ordinary Firefox browser (Currently Fx 45.6.0 esr ). If that works it does allow us to rule out some possibilities, and may give a clue as to what could be happening.

I do not normally use Facebook, but it seems to be a site with heavy scripts and, although it certainly does not always crash Firefox there are frequent reports of crashes when Facebook is in use and clearly some people do have issues when using Facebook on Firefox.
