Just recently I received a Home Hub 5 from BT to replace the old router we had that had finally stopped working.

Ever since using this new router the internet has been painfully slow for me and the website tumblr will not load properly at all on Firefox. It will partially load but not allow me to like or repost or scroll further than a certain point on the dashboard before stopping and refusing to go further (for those unfamiliar with tumblr, it works like Twitter's interface and the Facebook news feed, you scroll down continuously to view content).

I tried downloading Chrome to see if it was only Firefox that was the problem, and although Chrome was marginally better, there was still a few issues. I also tried re-downloading Firefox, but this made no difference either.

Nobody else in my family has problems with Firefox on their computers.

I am unsure whether this indicates an issue with Firefox itself, my computer, or my new router.

Has anyone ever had a similar problem before? I just wanted to clarify the problem before I go ahead and call BT for tech support regarding the router.
