I'm setting up a Gmail account in Thunderbird 45.4.

I declined to log into Google in the OAuth2 window that appeared. The account setup appeared to complete but it clearly does not work. The screenshot shows the error.

After deleting the account in Thunderbird and setting it up from scratch, I have not been given another opportunity to sign into Google through OAuth2.
