Cant watch youtube
Hello when i surf to youtube and want to watch a vid. I get the error that the flash player plugin has crashed. I have already done a fresh install of all the components except windows. And still i get the error. While it works on chrome and edge. Can you please help me fix this problem.
I use a 64 bit system and the software in qestion is all 64 bit. So its not the protection problem described on the forums.
Thx in advance.
Kevin

Firefox would normally use the HTML5 media player and not the Shockwave Flash plugin on the YouTube website in current Firefox releases, so I assume that you use an extension to force using the Shockwave Flash based player.
Do you have specific reasons not to use the HTML5 media player?
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and hardware acceleration in Firefox and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:
http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Windows Vista and later)
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox - disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html - disable hardware acceleration in Firefox

Hello, you can try to install the most recent version of Firefox, and that of the flash player plugin. Then restart Firefox and see if the problem is solved.
i removed all the plugins and now it works again. Never download HD plugins again. The strange thing is that when i de-installed Firefox it remembers all my plug-ins en settings when reinstalled.
