We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
- On the keyboard, press [Windows] The image "Windows key" does not exist. + [R]. This should bring up a Run window that contains a text field.
- In that text field, type %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
- From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
- Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
- Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
You can find more information and troubleshooting steps in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
The IDs for the crash reports are;
bp-1454959859 bp-1453859747 bp-1452184487 bp-1450894918 bp-1450872825
This aren't crash IDs, but are time strings either when a Firefox update got installed or when a crash occurred.
bp-1454959859 bp-1453859747 bp-1452184487 bp-1450894918 bp-1450872825
If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that start with "bp-":
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.
If a line on the about:crashes page doesn't start with "bp-" then click the line to submit the report and the link will be updated and gets a "bp-" prefix if the report is submitted successfully. Please do not add the "bp-" prefix yourself.

This is not particularly helpful. I followed the instructions, and as the first response said '6. Paste each ID with bp- ' I added it. ed-meister didn't say paste each ID that has a BP.
I thought it meant add BP, Im no expert that why im here.... There are NONE with bp-.
Nevermind, I'll stick with Chrome now I've started using it.

Could be a problem with hardware acceleration.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
