My understanding of how web pages work is that the web page name (URL) is translated to an IP address. So, can I find out what that address is for a web page which I have open? The reason for my interest is that when I type www.streamhunter.eu my Firefox browser comes back with Batmanstream.com or something like that. I want to know if this is the real streamhunter or a pirated web page. So, what IP address is Batmanstream using? I don't know. Oh, I am using Ubuntu 15.10 and Firefox 43.04.

A DNS server is probably redirecting the original domain to that domain. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System

Or can be done by the original domain name owner. http://help.dnsmadeeasy.com/managed-dns/records/http-redirection-record/
