for the last 3 days Firefox crashes after 3 - 20 minutes - no real consistent time or status as far as what I am doing. so far I have done the following with no success: 1. refreshed Firefox; 2. restarted Firefox in safe mode; 3. restarted Firefox with all add-ins / plug-ins disabled; 4. uninstalled Firefox and reloaded it from Mozilla site; 5. after reloading Firefox I again tried the refresh and safe mode restarts and still had crashes.

I am running Firefox on a HP destop with Windows 10. Hibernation and sleep are disabled and the power setting does not have the hard drive shutting down. Crashes happened while on websites as well has just working with Firefox settings. But did have several websites in my homepages - Google mail & calendar, Facebook, Linked-in, and Google - but also had the problem with just the default homepage from the reset option open. The upgrade to Windows 10 was done several months ago and Firefox operated fine until 3 days ago (generally used daily for several hours). Microsoft Edge does not have this crashing problem - but I still prefer Firefox and want to fix it. Any suggestions about what to try next??? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Let's see some of your most recent Crash Reports. Please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Also here is the crash report from 3 days ago when the problem seem to have started. There were several other crashes between 1/20 and today but it looks like I did not report them. bp-acafcc42-67f2-4ef9-91d8-9e23a2160120 1/20/2016 12:23 PM

Thanks to all. Firefox has been working for over 90 minutes without problem. Disabling Rapport seems to be the solution for my problem. I will still try the AMD driver later but want to give this setup more time. Thanks again.
