Is foxstart approved by mozilla? because some sites claim it is a virus or malware.
I down loaded the windows 10 upgrade. and had repeated problems including repeated freeze's and "critical errors". So i did a system re-set, removing all drivers but keeping my files. I then down loaded fire fox and thunderbird (due to being VERY dissapointed with microsoft). but i now have "foxstart" on my home page, I am pretty sure i downloaded foxstart with firefox. but i am now struggling to find any referance to it in mozilla. So obviously I dont want something thats not been approved on my home page. T.I.A for any help, advice or assistance.

I have had a look at Foxstart and it is not a Mozilla page. Indeed, the makes of Foxstart do say that "Although this site has been optimized for the Firefox web browser, it is not connected with the Mozilla Foundation in any way."
If you want to change your start page to something different, I recommend that you have a read of this article.

Hi Diawl I tried the advised methods to remove Foxstart but it kept on comming back. I got so sick of Foxstart I decided to do a system reset. This is where all of the drivers and downloads get completely removed but your own folders and files are retained. I had to re-load applications like my printer software, thunderbird, firefox, VLC player, microsoft office etc. I consider this to be rather extreme, BUT any program that keeps on returning when trying to remove it can only be classed as a trojan and it is most likely collecting personal data!!!!!!!!
Did you try the computer's uninstall setup?
You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
