When i open Firefox and click on the history bar, its empty even though I have not erased the history before shutting down. How can I remedy this please?

Hi
Apologies for the delay in getting to your question.
I have had a look into this and it maybe the case that you have set Firefox to Clear History when Firefox closes. I recommend that you;
- type about:preferances#privacy into the address bar and press Enter
- clear the tick box next to Clear history when Firefox closes
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.
History and cookies can be removed or not recorded several ways;
- 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
- 2) Privacy settings
(Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.) - 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
- 4) Mal-ware.
