No. Refresh/reset Firefox means that Firefox creates a new profile. Downloading and (re)installing a fresh copy of Firefox only re-installs Firefox and you still have the same Firefox profile folder, so this won't help in case of issues with the profile.

What kind of issues do you have that you want to refresh Firefox?

When you refresh/reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported. The current profile folder will be moved to an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.

It is possible to recover data from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Thank you COR-EL, for really clearing that up for me, the option of Downloading a Fresh Copy is the one I really need to use, cause it's a lot less work for me and it really does Speed up Firefox a Lot ! I just want to stay Up To Date ya know ! As Old as I am, My memory Ain't as good as it once was, ya know and I got a million passwords that I can't afford to loose track of, ya know ! Thanks a Million Cor-EL, and Happy Surfing Okieboy7.....
