I have windows 8.1 O/S. I started to have this problem after updating Firefox, a couple months ago. I get frozen while typing, highlighting, or do any kind of edition to my emails. I already unchecked the box (Use hardware acceleration when available), under the Options / Advanced tap.

Please advise. its getting so frustrating and I like Firefox.
