Using Firefox 39, Flash 18.0.0.194... about a week ago Firefox will not play Facebook videos. (Videos linked to Facebook pages) Youtube and all other play.
I have read and tried all suggestions that I have found. Uninstalled Firefox and Flash, cleaned up files etc... Very frustrating. Running on Windows 2008 Server 64bit , Firefox 39, Flash 18.0.0.194. The problem started just a week or 10 days ago. Around the same time as Firefox was updated to version 39. I do not have issues on Windows 7 64bit although it appears numerous others are experiencing this problem on that platform. (Also have tried disabling all plugins/extension etc etc). Also this is not specific to this user profile as the problem occurs with any user on the machine. The exact error with all videos that link to a facebook file "Video Unavailable We are having trouble playing this video." The videos work fine in Chrome.

From what I have been reading it is pretty wide spread... Would be nice if someone actually knew what was the cause and how to fix it.
After today's (July 8, 2015) Flash update to 18.0.0.203 the behavior has changed. Now when I try to play something that is on a Facebook URL I no longer get the error message but the file never starts to play...
So no one has any idea on this?
I am having trouble too. I know others who have had trouble. Videos are skipping. However I have no issue in Chrome. I am wondering if I need to move all move bookmarks to Chrome and use that as my default if I cannot get this resolved. Any help will be appreciated.
I am using Firefox Developer Edition 42.0a2 and Flash 18.0.0.232. The video window acts like it is buffering because the circle rotates but it never displays but the sound plays as if it was operating normally.
Experiencing this problem now as well. SWF videos will play in other browsers, but not Firefox. A reinstall of Flash did nothing, as did a refresh of Firefox.
Video often either doesn't load at all or loads only a gray area where the player should be.
