I resend some emails regularly with only slight changes to the email so I usually do a "reply all" or "forward" . Recently I cannot see the text in the body of the emails using FireFox, however I can see the complete email when using FireFox mobile or Internet Explorer. Any ideas what is causing the problem and how to fix it? I have tried to copy and paste the text into a new email but that didn't work.

I am using Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium and FireFox 37.0.1

Any help would be appreciated.

Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;

Installed Plug-ins

Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 11.0.10 Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape "9.5.5"

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Here is another option;

Windows Live Mail is part of Windows Live Essentials

Thanks for the advice. Disabling the adobe plugin and safe mode did not resolve issue. This morning 1 email is working properly but other 2 are not. Though I can see the complete emails still in IE and Firefox mobile.

It is only happening with the emails that I send quite frequently with small changes. Even copying the text and starting a new email didn't fix the problem.

Thanks again for your help

Disabling the adobe plugin . . . . did not resolve issue

DO NOT disable old program. REMOVE them.

Is only the text not visible (i.e. you see text if you try to select some in that area) or is that area collapsed completely?

You can also try to check that area in the Inspector via Inspect Element in the right-click context menu.

I uninstalled Adobe reader, then did the rest of your suggestions but the problem remains. It is only with 3 emails that get resent daily with slight changes to the text. It is like most of the text has been removed from the email.

Thanks for the suggestions and advice

it is only happening to a few emails that get resent daily with slight changes to the text. It looks like most of the text in the body of the email has been removed and was never in the message. Yet I can look at that same message in IE or Firefox mobil and see the complete text.

I tried the page inspector but couldn't make heads or tails of it.

I'm stumped...thanks for your help and suggestions...

recreating the emails from scratch has resolved the problem for the new emails. Still can't see the text in the body of the older emails in firefox though.

Better than nothing I guess...

Thanks to all for the advice and suggestions.

Did you check the raw code of the emails to see if that text was still present?

no idea why,,,oh well,,,

I mostly use the Live Mail program. If you want, you can send me one of the bad messages. I can look at it both ways. Maybe I will see something. Click my name to the right of this post.
