Do all three of these fail?

• right-click > Open Link in New Tab
• Ctrl+click the link
• middle-click the link with the mouse wheel (if you have one)

If you have been using Firefox for a while, can you associate this in time with any software change, such as:

• Firefox update
• Windows update
• hardware driver update

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode.

If Firefox is not running: Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

• "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
• Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

and OK the restart.

Both scenarios: A small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Refresh).

Can you open links in a new tab, or same problem?

you can esaly do it by a way:

• Right on the link
• then click on"open link on new tab"

if ,,it is not held then

• refresh your firefox browser or update
• OR update your window
