Firefox crash after 36 and also in 36.0.1
Hello
When i closing firefox i get crash, most of the time i close it in task manager before i get crash report, but i have stored some of this crash report.

I use win7 pro x64 but the same crashes is also on pc with xp.
I try also fresh install of Firefox with NO add on and is the same, crash on closing but not all the time. I read all thread, try all ( disable safe mode in flash, turn of hardware acceleration in flash and also in firefox, disable plugin container, etc ) nothing helped to find solution for crash.
I hope someone can help me with my problem and let me know what couse this crash from crash report above.

The crash report flagged these programs;
Signature shutdownhang
nvd3dum.dll = NVIDIA Windows Vista WDDM driver
nvwgf2um.dll = NVIDIA Compatible D3D10 Driver
Download the current full installer for this program.

Thank you for answer.
I have installed latest 341.44 Nvidia drivers.
First drivers was downloade with windows update and after this i download full driver installer from nvidia page and install it.
I also uninstall Nvidia drivers and make fresh install and FF still crash.
p.s.
In all crash report is writen this nvidia drivers?
I uninstall Nvidia 3D Vision and this error i get today when Firefox crash:

The new crash report is the same but added;
icudt52.dll = International Components for Unicode
Please check for updates. For this and all other programs / drivers.
I have:
- latest FF 36.0.1 - Latest flash player - Latest java - latest nvidia drivers - installed all windows update
What i must update? What is icudt52.dll = International Components for Unicode and how to update this?
No more Crashes :)
Here is what i did:
- install iobit uninstaller and uninstall Nvidia drivers - whit iobit uninstaller create full scan ( registry ) and delete all - restart Pc - run windows update and install Nvidia drivers - now no more chrashes all work perfect
I don't know if something is wrong with Nvidia pack from Nvidia page or Firefox don't work well with Nvidia driver pack ( 3D Vision etc ) but now is all OK.
If anybody have the same problem, do as i wrote above and Firefox will not crash anymore.
p.s. I hope that Mozilla developer team can figure out what problem is with Nvidia driver pack + Firefox and fix this, so we can install driver pack from Nvidia page with no crashes when we use Firefox.

Figure out that is not problem with Nvidia drivers but with Firefox.
Yesterday and today no crashes. Then new update of FF 36.0.3 was installed and crash is back, this time i can't fix it.
If i uninstall FF 36.0.3 and install 36.0.1 all work like charm ( no crashes ) If i install latest version 36.0.3 chrash is back.
So something is wrong with firefox and not Nvidia drivers.
Try also Chrome and IE 11 and both work with no problems, only firefox crash after closing.
p.s. I see in release notes this for 36.0.3:
Changed Shut down hangs will now show the crash reporter before exiting the program
This is not true and don't work like is writen in release notes, becouse you have crash report the same like in 36.0.1 ( after FF is closed ).
I think thet after almost 11 years of using FF now is time to leave it and start using Chrome, becouse of bugs that can't be fixed from developer team, or they just don't know how.

I try all that i found about crashes and here is result:
Installed full nvidia driver pack from Nvidia page:
- Chrome work like charm with no crashes - IE 11 work like charm with no crashes - FF crash 10x in one day when you close it
So, problem is in FF and not in Nvidia driver pack.
If you disable Flash player hardware acceleration and Firefox hardware acceleration, then page become laggy on loading also google maps is laggy when you move around, if you enable hardware acceleration in FF then start to work smooth, but you get instead 10x crashes at one day now around 15x or more.
I hope that developer team will fix this bug asap for other users, or they will like me, go to Chrome where all work smooth with no crashes at all.

After 7 days of using Google Chrome i have NO crashes in this time, all work 100% OK. Today when i run FF 36.0.4 i get crash after first closing.
Like i say before, Firefox team create some mistake in Firefox and this is reason for chrashing.
So Nvidia drivers or flash player is not problem, problem is Firefox, becouse all other browser work like charm with the same flash player and the same Nvidia drivers.
Don't know what they change in 35 and 36 version but in this versions is some bug and couse a lot of crashes on closing.

With hardware acceleration on, games, Google maps, video players, etc should run fast. Without it, they may not run as well. Hardware acceleration is still pretty new to Firefox and can be problematic at times.
