When I try to start Firefox it will not come up
When I click on Firefox I receive a message that says: Couldn't load XPCOM . I'VE BEEN USING FIREFOX ON MY COMPUTER FOR WELL OVER 15 years. This is the first time I've ever had a problem. What is happening? I had to use my phone because I can no larger get on the internet on my computer. HELP PLEASE!

hello RAWHIDE57, this can happen usually after you perform a windows system restore. in order to address the issue, please run a clean reinstall:
- download the full firefox setup file from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
- uninstall firefox on the machine through the system control panel
- manually delete all remaining files in the firefox program folder, which usually resides in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\
- reinstall firefox with the setup file you've downloaded in step 1
