I accidentally clicked the target shaped icon for using my location on Google maps, and they only have information on how to turn it off in Chrome. Because I'm at a desktop, hardwired to the internet, it does me no good to show my location as Indianapolis when I'm in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. If nothing else, I can uninstall and re-install...

I accidentally clicked the target shaped icon for using my location on Google maps, and they only have information on how to turn it off in Chrome. Because I'm at a desktop, hardwired to the internet, it does me no good to show my location as Indianapolis when I'm in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
  • Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
  • Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab
