I use Windows XP. Lately when I start Firefox, my Zone Alarm a/v flags a virus. Latest one is "Gfy0WgmsADm.dll"
This virus is usually marked by Zone Alarm as "treated on reboot"

Update all of your protection programs.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

No virus detected when Firefox started in safe mode, and on next normal start. It appears that I had a spate of virus hits last week that have now stopped. Thanks FredMcD
Keep your programs up to date, and run full system scans now and then.
