</p><p>Windows hides folder locations such as that from the user by default. You need to change a setting in the <strong>Folders Options &gt; View</strong> section of the Control Panel <em>(or whatever Win7 calls it)</em>.
Then you can look for that - C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\browser extensions\client.exe - file.
</p><p>I'm curious why Firefox would try to "open" a file in that location, at all.
I would be nice to see a screenshot of Firefox with that message showing.

According to your information you have a user.js (second last info)
This file is read as the last startup-file, that way overriding any settings. Even changes we make through firefox.
If you didn't create it probably some malicious adware did
