thanks, the error appears to be caused by the synced history items - can you try to turn off the synchronisation of your history for testing purposes?

there appears to be a size limit for syncing history that you may have hit...

but I just try to turn on 5 minutes later ... and same pb before your solution...

for me it's not a pb to let turn it off the synchronisation of my history. (but, if you think it can help (and if it's not because of me !), I can open a ticket on bugzilla...)

(sorry i haven't see your last replie... i don't see nothing special in history ... the only thing i see for that kind of thing is my modification of browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo;99 )

when you inspect your firefox history (ctrl+shift+h) do you see anything unusual there (for example one particular site that creates 100s of entries for one single visit)?

Do you have any other problems with the history or bookmark?

This could indicate a problem with the places.sqlite file.

- no specific pb with history or bookmark (but i recently copy/past many bookmarks from a "portable FF" ...)

- i have a older,but disable, ext since long time (Vacuum Places Improved)

- Places Maintenance : http://pastebin.mozilla.org/6040942 but to be honest, it is possible that my places.sqlite file wasn't very clean, because I translated extensions and test them ... not very clean!

- for example, if you see my sync log on line 211 and 212, they are ref to adblockplus that i remove since a long time for adblock edge ...

- I'll take the time to read your other links and maybe to reset my history (it's not really important)

it's just that it bothered me to have a pb with sync just when I wait for my firefoxOS phone !... (but if it's just for the history, it's really not a problem as long as I have it in local on my pc ...)

I reset my history and the sync is ok after that, with history on ... (i read your mozillazine link and have nothing what is described.)

So if i understand the problem come from options/privacy/"Remember history" after a certain time...

i was in contact with a mozilla dev working on sync and he meant that even if you "remember history" the size issue shouldn't come up under normal circumstances - so maybe let's take this as a one-off failure.
in case it reappears you might really consider filing a bug report (but then it may be useful to submit your history files to the devs in some private way)...
