Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:

• Windows/Mac: Go to Help > Restart with add-ons disabled
• Linux: Run firefox -safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

First of all thanks a lot for trying to help. I restarted it in safe mode with all add-ons disabled. It crashed within about a minute.  :-((

I also see that you have Firefox 29 installed. Mozilla released 29.0.1 as an update to Firefox to fix some bugs. Please try to install the 29.0.1 to see if that helps.

• Go to The image "new fx menu" does not exist. > Help > About Firefox

Firefox should then grab the update and install it.

Try to set javascript.options.baselinejit to false in about:config:

• Navigate to about:config in your Address Bar
• Press the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button to proceed
• Search for javascript.options.baselinejit and set it to false by right clicking the pref and selecting Toggle.
• Restart Firefox and see if it works properly.

You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox as well
Firefox has hardware acceleration set to "on" by default, but it's still young, which means some video cards or drivers might have problems with it. You can try to disable hardware acceleration to see if that alleviates your problems.

You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Then perform these steps for Firefox version 29.0 and above:

• Click the menu button and select Options for Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux. For Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
• In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, then select "General".
• In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
• Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Which one should I disable?

You can try to disable the Baseline JavaScript compiler introduced in Firefox 23 and the IonMonkey JavaScript compiler introduced in Firefox 18 to see if that helps at all

It might not be necessary to disable both, but as I am not sure how they interrelate, it seems safest to treat them as a pair. So set them both to FALSE
Another thing to set to false to see if it makes a difference is to disable javascript.options.ion.content

You have to restart Firefox for changes to take effect. Let me know how everything goes.

I'm really sad now, I'm think I won't be able to use this software, however it is (would be) my favorite because of the awesome addons, this is the best and most useful browser ever.  :-(

Have you tried disabling the JIT compiler? (javascript.options.baselinejit.chrome and javascript.options.baselinejit.content) Your crash report's crashing thread is linking to this module which is starting up YARR JIT. (AFAICT)

Yes of course I disabled both. Still crashes. It seems like there's no solution for me.  :-(

If I may ask what was changed or what was being done before it started crashing?

Nothing. I didn't change anything. I haven't been using Firefox for about 10 years. Nowadays I thought I give it a try because I hate the new Opera, which I was using unil now. So I gave Firefox a try and I loved all the features and all the addons. It just doesn't work. It crashes all the time. By the way I just re-installed my entire Windows today. It's totally clean. I only installed the latest drivers for my hardware, Adobe Flash, Java and DirectX. Nothing else. This is a clean Windows install. Firefox still crashes.

Ok, So these next batch of crashes are a large number of Baseline signatures and two signatures:

• nsCycleCollector::FreeSnowWhite(bool)
• NSSCKFWC_Initialize | secmod_LoadPKCS11Module - which is a Flash Module trying to start.
• js::RegExpShared::executeMatchOnly(JSContext*, wchar_t const*, unsigned int, unsigned int*, js::MatchPair&) - I amnot sure about this one.

In the new profile, does adoble flash update to 14? Please try to reinstall the Adobe extension from the website one more time. This is a start up issue and I think flash may be causing this. (at least crash 2) as for the RegExpShared its a regex expression that checks if it matches a list and only executes if it passes on the start up of Firefox.

After reinstalling Adobe, please Start Firefox in Safe mode to see if it is another extension causing the other signature crash.

This method solved a similar case a while back. You should try it and see if it works out.

I reinstalled my Windows. Formatted the entire C drive! This is a clean install with a very few programs. Latest Firefox, latest Adobe Flash.
